Q: Favorites Have Disappeared
A: The matter can be in the wrong Registry
reference. Do the following:
1. Open the Start Menu
2. Launch regedit editor by clicking Start>>
Run and typing in 'regedit'.
3. Go to the key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders]
4. Change its value to the following: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders]
Or, delete the Registry key and create the new
one with the correct type which points to the
correct folder and reboot.
